This
great shot by Lang is again off of the 2002 letterboxed VCI DVD and has some
interesting qualities to it that the Criterion Blu-ray does not totally
overcome, as the lights of the luxury cruiser shine mirror-like off of the
water setting up a romantic moment between Grant and Hepburn. Because this is a three-strip, dye-transfer
Technicolor print, it again has a solidness and natural look in scenes and
shots like this that even the Blu-ray does not.
The two will make for an interesting comparison for any system.
