It was
with some curiosity that I began watching The
Complete Fourth Series and I was surprised that the show was still
pleasantly consistent, smarter than I gave it credit for and that a subtle
chemistry between co-stars Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt remained. All 24 episodes are here over four DVDs and
what is set up like the end of the whole series turns out to only be the middle
of it.
The
highlight episode is Yoko Said, where
Yoko Ono plays herself and is very good and willing to send up her persona and
controversies in a very likable episode and yes, the original Beatles and John
Lennon music is retained here on this disc in an increasingly rare feat of
licensing for DVD. Very amusing.
The 1.33
X 1 image and Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo are the same as the previous DVD set and
there are surprisingly no extras.
