When we
first looked at Days That Shook The
World when its Complete First Season/Pilot
set arrived on DVD, I wondered how long the show could last and would it get
better or worse. Turns out the show ran
only three seasons and stayed about the same.
Here is what I said about the first set:

Despite
some refinements over each season, the show stayed the same, but I give them
credit for trying to add events that are not discussed as much. A little of the style can go a long way and
this can inadvertently make exciting history dull at times, but you could do
worse and now, you can see for yourself.
Like the
first set, the anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1 image is good and clean, if not
spectacular and has detail limits in what looks like an early HD shoot. The Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo is without
surrounds, but is a more recent recording and fine for such a simple show. There are no extras.
