Here Come The Brides – The Complete Second Season (1969 – 1970/Shout Factory DVD Set)

Welcome back to the 1850s Seattle with the Bolt Brothers: Jason, Joshua and Jeremy are back with the men of Seattle and the Brides, 100 young ladies from San Francisco whom come to lay claim on lumberjacks of Seattle.  In the Second and Final Season, new challenges await the rapidly growing town of Seattle, Jeremy proposing to Candy, new/old friends and enemies threaten the town, strangers, wild animals, danger and more in Here Come The Brides!

The lumber town of Seattle is a busy growing town; the only thing it lacks is women for all those lonely lumberjacks, but when Jason Bolt brings back 100 potential wives (the Brides), after one year Seattle is looking to become even a greater city it's future.  But life on the frontier isn't easy, it seem the town faces one trouble after another.  The town almost revolves around the Bolt brothers, with their wisdom, guidance, friendship and each other they protect the town's peace, prosperity and happiness.

This was a very amusing series, life on the frontier with in a lumber town, almost like Little House on the Prairie.  The daily life/drama of lumberjacks, the women and the town tavern.  The town centers mostly around the 3 brothers who own and run the lumber company.  They are each outstanding members of the community and it would not be wrong to say the town of Seattle would collapse without them there.  It is a heart warming show about tightly knit groups of friends, family and community that cares for one another, but two seasons was enough.
