Welcome back to America's largest swamp in the Louisiana bayou, full of wild and dangerous creatures, here man must fight back against the forces of nature.  Here in the swamp man hunts one of the oldest and most dangerous creatures in the world, the alligator.  Each hunter has their own territory/style and techniques and only one month all the gators they need.

We get old and new hunters in Season 2 of Swamp People with life is at the most visceral, living off the land and pitting mans, wits, skills against the deadly alligator.  As each hunter strives to fill his tags, it's not only fight against time and 300 to 800 lbs gators, but other hunters, poachers, and unexpected snags in the bog.  Here, hunting is not just survival; it's their way of life.  In one month, they can earn enough money to survive for a year, but each hunter has a certain number of tags to fill and if they don't tag out they'll have less to hunt the next year.

This is a great documentary if you want know what it is like to hunt alligators Louisiana Cajun-style, following some of Louisiana's best hunters as they strive to find the biggest gator and to remain top gator hunters.  They hunt with such ease, it might temp someone to try it.  From frogs, squirrels, raccoons, wild bores to gators if they can hunt it, they can eat it.  Extra includes additional footage.
