Four
spirits reside in a house, two angels and two devils with each side trying to
influence the Tim and Lisa (a husband and wife) with temptation, jealously,
greed, and adultery. While the angels
try to save and prevent break up of the family, their powers aren't nearly as
flashy nor cool as the devils, but when their marriage and family is threatened
by another thieving seducing couple the angels remind them of the healing power
of God.
Both Tim
and Lisa are on the fast track of life, family, house and money. All they want is a little appreciation from
their spouses. Tim wants to go out and
party with is boys but encounters an old flame from the past, while Lisa is the
bread winner finds herself with a hot and rich client. Both are tempted to commit adultery when they
aren't getting anything but cold fish at home.
This recorded
version of the lay is about a community/family, a modern story of their life
and their relationship with God and Jesus. It is more comical than dramatic because the
angels and devil act more like the peanut gallery and you can tell this was made
with very heavy religious ideas and influences. It is more of the same from the same cycle of
resent such productions (thank you Tyler Perry) goes nowhere, despite a concept
that would have worked better in a horror film.
The
anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1 picture is weak and blurry, especially when
the camera or people move, while the Dolby Digital sound is not as bad, but is
nothing great. Extras include interview
with cast & crew and still gallery.
