Zombie Undead (2010/MVD Visual DVD)

Picture: D     Sound: D     Extras: D     Main Program: C

Sarah was just trying to get her father to the hospital before he bleed out.  That, however, became a moot point when terrorist set loose a dirty bomb in the middle of the city, turning people into zombie.  Sarah awakens in a hospital surrounded by zombies... As she looks for answers and the fate of her father she runs into other survivors and she discovers she has more problems than finding her father... staying alive in Rhys Davies’ Zombie Undead (2010).

A British production, this is not much different from the endlessly forgettable U.S. versions of the same thing.  Continuing, Sarah awakens after fainting in the hospital, but she awakens to a nightmare and the hospital is filled with the undead and she is stuck inside.  She is rescued by the other survivors, but then she refuses to leave until she finds her father.  As they journey through the halls of the undead looking for her father (and a way out) they must avoid from making too much sound or they will attract the zombies...

This was another zombie apocalypse film with the same scenarios we have seen before.  There are (as usual) no origins for the zombies aside from some brief mention of some viral bomb going off and suddenly the main character is in a zombie filled world.  The main character was the most pathetic excuse of a survivor I had ever seen, all she did was panic and freeze up when there was danger and she relied on others and was totally useless in a fight.  She was a total emotional drama queen, her altruistic values ends up causing more death than saving lives.  This was one of the rare movies which I was actually rooting for the zombies to put the character out their (and my) misery.

It also looked and sounded very bad, plus had no extras, so enough said.  See it at your own risk.
