Martha & Friends – Martha's Magnificent Egg (Gaiam Vivendi DVD)

Join young Martha and Friends as the get ready to make Easter into an egg-tra-ordinary Easter Egg making episode, as they make homemade decorated eggs in a contest for the chance to win to go to the White House Easter Egg Roll, but will the competition turn friends into bitter rivals?  As Martha finds a creative way decorate her eggs and post on her web blog, she shows there are some things more important than winning in Martha’s Magnificent Egg, the latest in the unlikely animated series.

In the spirit of Martha Stewart and creativity, Martha and friends gives creative ideas for kids to decorate Easter Eggs (with adult supervision of course).  Easter is a chance for fun decorative activities for kids, and Martha find a new and creative way to make things more beautiful, but when both Martha's ideas and eggs get stolen, Martha must come up with an idea to save her eggs and her relationship.

It DVD is an extremely short episode for kids on how to decorate Easter Eggs for kids.  A CGI world, with a young 3-D version of Martha Stewart plays a heroine in a picture perfect world with CGI friends and talking animals.  As they explore the world and their creativity, they touch on themes such as sharing and friendship.  The show kids how to creativity make various crafts, but not everyone has access Martha's materials.  The anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1 picture and Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo sound are pretty simple and basic.  Extras include Webisodes, and Martha's craft corner.
