addictive marijuana is, it's effects and impact on America's youth and why
should people not uses it… why people believe it was truly “the devil's weed”.
This DVD
features 3 stories all about marijuana. 1) The
Terrible Truth, the story of a runaway girl who lived and breathed for
marijuana and heroin, 2) The Devil's
Weed, the story of how easily marijuana corrupts and poisons America's
schools and kids and lead them to early tragic deaths and 3) The Devil's Harvest - How even a good
girl can fall and be corrupted by it's dealers for it's high or it's
money.
These
black and white films were designed to show said 'evils' of marijuana usage and
scare it's audience, how it can ruin a person's life not only physically but
mentally as well. Its show the various
before and after effects, how it causes illusionary highs and it causes people
not only end up in jail, but sanatoriums as well. Many people back then weren't as afraid to
show effects of drugs through a fictional story, and how it was a
nation/people's civic duty to find, fight and resist against drugs. There are no extras and the picture and sound
are very, very rough, so be careful of volume switching when viewing and know
it can be a chore to watch.
