The Art of Assassin's Creed IV - Black Flag (By Paul Davies/2013/Titan Books Hardcover)

Book: B+

Join Edward Kenway, a British privateer turned pirate and the newest member of the Assassin's Order in the 18th century Caribbean, where there is a secret war going on between the Assassins, Templars and the British, Spanish and French Empires. They are searching for the Observatory, an ancient relic which allows the user to see through the eyes of someone's blood, but the only man who can lead them to the Observatory is mysterious Sage. Kenway became a pirate for the riches, but becomes an unwitting pawn in a much greater game....

This is a beautiful oversized book featuring the Assassin's Creed 4. It has beautiful art work and vistas of Caribbean of where the story takes place along with various characters and character designs. From island paradises, high seas pirate ship battles, underwater coves to dangerous trap filled Mayan temples, this art book paints a ancient world with a hidden secrets that various secret societies, super powers and organizations have been after since the beginning of time. The only thing I wished the could of done more was more art work on their equipment or character action poses with scenes from the game, but it is extensive and big, so fans will not be too disappointed.
