It's
the series finale of Touched By An Angel and it has been a
long road of storylines, but as time moves on so does change, as
Monica, Tess, Andrew and Gloria touch the lives of the people they
meet, saving hearts and souls. In this final season the angels are
tested and face their toughest cases, Gloria is tricked by a demon
impersonating Monica, Tess is diagnosed with Alzheimer's, and Monica
faces an evaluation for promotion to supervisor to replace Tess.
It's a season of love, lost and hope, can they bring hope to a world
that is so easily broken and corrupted?
This
was wonderful family drama, telling the stories of how angels walk
the earth helping people, by telling them of God's love for them and
helping them make tough choices in times of crisis. They often take
on everyday roles without people knowing they are angels, but then
show themselves when all hope is lost, reminding people they have a
choice. They are often tested by the forces of evil or Satan's
demons, and they are moved by lives and cases of the people they are
assigned to. This last time, people from Monica's past cases come
back and testify to the difference the Angels had made in their
lives.
This
is a great series to own, while it has angels and talks of God, this
series does not focus on religion as much as the good and evil in
humans and how kindness, caring and forgiveness of the human spirit.
The series focuses choices people make, sometimes help them make a
difficult choice or to correct a bad choice made. It shows how
imperfect people, their lives and this world is, the people then are
shown the the truth about their lives and how they can move on to
make a better choice.
The
1.33 X 1 picture and lossy Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo sound are on par
with the previous set, though these transfers can show their age and
as before, there are no extras.
