Nami
is the hottest Japanese female truck driver around, and for the right
price she will deliver anything. She is the Queen of the Road in her
neon pimped-out truck, but has she met her match when an old high
school rival, Ayano. Now turned policewoman, she pulls her over! As
they renew their friendship, Nami finds her cargo was caught
up in drug bust when she discovers she was unknowingly helping to
shipping drugs for the Yakuza. Now, two old rival must set aside
their differences to catch the real criminals in Hideo Tojo's Smokey
& The Bushido: Dekotora 2 (2009/aka Rinko Eighteen).
Nami
is a bad ass truck driver that can kick anybody's ass. Ayano is a
strict policewoman busting anyone who breaks law and speed limit.
Both of them are former rival gangsters/delinquents. Ayano is after
the man who killed her husband when he was infiltrating the mob.
Nami is forced to take care of Ayano's son, but when Ayano goes
missing it it is up to Nami to save the day.
Be
warned... there is a lot of nudity, violence, sex, swearing and
disrespect for the traffic laws. This was a B rated movie that makes
fun of delinquent female trucker drivers and policewoman as loose and
crude women, both of them will do anything to get what they want
(usually sex).
The
anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1 image is not bad for what looks like
an HD shoot, but I was disappointed with the Japanese and English dub
lossy Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo versions of the audio. Weak and a
little off, they never worked too well, though I still liked the
Japanese track a little better. Extras include trailers.
