Cavemen (2013/Well Go USA Blu-ray)

Picture: B Sound: B Extras: D Film: B

Dean (Skylar Astin) and his roommates are the better known as the 4 playboys of LA, every night is a one night stands with empty beer bottles, shallow relationships and meaningless sex. Together, they live together in a loft known as the cave, where they take home all their girls and have wild parties. Dean, tired of it all, decides he want to find true love and tries to quit being a playboy, and with a little help from his nephew and his best friend Tess (Camilla Bell), he might just discover true love is a lot closer to home than he knows in Herschel Faber's Caveman (2013).

In the modern city life, good looking guys never suffers from a night of loneliness or goes to bed alone. Sex with no strings attached is the norm and people are happier without any commitment. That is until Dean, a young screen writer/part time bartender wants more than just one night stands, he wants an actual relationship. So while hanging out with his boys sharing drinks, conquests and love stories, he asks them what true love is and if they should be looking for it.

This was a comical love story, but be warned... there is nudity, sex, and laughter (not in that particular order). While the main character goes out on dates, trying to find his one true love, he doesn't realize until the end that his one is his best friend who has been there all along helping him the whole time. That love isn't finding that just one magical moment, but rather when you meet the right one all the moments are magical. Chad Michael Murray, Alexis Knapp and Jason Patric are among the supporting cast.

The 1080p 2.35 X 1 digital, HD-shot High Definition image uses anamorphic lenses to attain its scope image with decent, consistent results, while the DTS-HD (MA) Master Audio lossless 5.1 mix is well-recorded with a consistent soundfield throughout. A trailer is the only extra.
