When
a group of US mercenaries get caught by the Al-Queda, only one man
barely makes it out alive. After recovering a few months later, he
vows to rescue his comrades who have been imprisoned all this time.
He follows the code of the brotherhood of soldiers... "No One
Left Behind." When jobs too dangerous or politically unstable,
the military hire soldiers of fortune/ex-military (or Private
Military Contractors) to do the job, because if things goes bad, the
PMCs are expendable and the government can deny all involvement. One
man decides to go back into enemy territory after living with
survivor's guilt. He re-trains himself to become the ultimate one
man army against terrorists and shows them payback's a bitch.

Gruner's Sector 4: Extraction (2014) was like a mix blend of
Rambo and Rocky, ex-military war veteran training to rescue his
friends behind enemy lines, but you have the director co-starring
with a tired Eric Roberts and you can imagine the problems that
result. To clarify, the story plot was like Rambo's and the music
was like the Rocky soundtrack, but that where the similarity ends.
The filming and costuming looked cheap and fighting techniques were
laughable in the fact those moves would gotten you killed in real
life. At least it was unintentionally amusing... sometimes.
The
anamorphically enhanced image and lossy Dolby Digital sound are
nothing to write home about and extras include digital download &
trailer gallery.
