Izayoi,
Asuka and You are three problem children with special abilities.
After receiving a mysterious letter from the sky, they are suddenly
transported to the world of Little Garden, where those of unusual
abilities play games with each other and bet their lives. They are
summoned to this world by Black Rabbit who leads the No-name
community, a community that protects children. Together, they
challenge the various other communities ruled by the Demon Lords who
rule the games through fear, slavery or even death.
The
trio are pulled into a world of games by the Black Rabbit who needs
their special gifts to protect children of the No-name community.
Izayoi is gifted with incredible strength and immunity from other
people's gifts and loves a challenge. Asuka is a rich girl and has
the gift of command words and eventually controls a giant red steel
mecha. You is gifted with talking and copying the gifts of various
animals. The Gift Games involve hosts who set certain rules and
conditions to to win, but they are not above cheating if it is not in
the rules. Fortunately our 3 problem children are far more
formidable than their enemies give credit for.
This
was your typical fantasy battle anime, this series is filled with
magic, different races of gods, demons, spirits and various other
animal races. The whole series is about how each 'community' battles
with everything at stake, but with more high level games the games
become not only physical challenges but mental ones with riddles,
requiring a person to know history or mythologies.
The
1080p 1.78 X 1 digital High Definition image looks great throughout
each episode, while the lossless DTS-HD MA 2.0 Stereo is warm and
well recorded throughout, plus has Pro Logic-like surounds those with
home theater systems might want to try out. Extras include clean
openings and closing animations and trailers.
