Fantasista Doll: Complete Collection (2013/Sentai Blu-ray)

Picture: A Sound: B Extras: C- Episodes: B-

Uzume was a normal middle schoolgirl until she found some cards and some girls call 'dolls' popped out of them and she suddenly becomes their master, but she soon finds out she's not the only one with cards and everyday she is challenged by other card masters. Uzume also never wanted to be a card master, but when she finds a group of cards that turn into girls she rather make friends with them in Fantasista Doll: Complete Collection (2013).

She soon finds out there are other card masters and the battle each other, with their cards as the prize. And for some reason everyone wants her cards, a mysterious organization that is promising to grant anyone's wishes if they capture Uzume's cards. This series sort of reminds me of Card Captor Sakura, a young girl who suddenly has magical powers/abilities and fights for love, friendship and justice, except with even more characters and pretty costumes. And for some odd particular reason all the 'cards' were girls and their abilities get more silly as the series progresses.

The 1080p 1.78 X 1 digital High Definition image looks great throughout each episode, while the lossless DTS-HD MA (Master Audio) 2.0 Stereo is warm and well recorded throughout, plus has Pro Logic-like surounds those with home theater systems might want to try out though 5.1 mixes would have been nice. Extras include clean opening and closing animations and trailers.
