Kinmoza: Complete Series (2013/Sentai DVD)

Picture: B Sound: B Extras: D Episodes: B-

The British are coming? Shinobu loves English culture and especially blonde girls, her friend Alice, who loves Japanese culture and has come over to Japan to homestay with Shinobu. As they become fast friends with Shinobu's friends Yoko and Aya, they are joined with another blonde foreign student Karen. Together, they all enjoy friendship and laughter of middle school life together in Kinmoza: Complete Series (2013).

This was a cute anime with a lot of more girls. Shinobu or Shino for short, is an energetic 15-year-old girl who love English culture, but most of all blonde hair girls. Alice is Shino's friend and love Japanese culture, but she gets a bit jealous when other girls shows interest in Shino. Aya is a is Shino's classmate, she is smart and has a thing for Yoko. Yoko is a tomboyish girl which the girls admires. Karen is Alice's childhood friend who is half Japanese, she comes from a rich family. Together, they all play together sharing daily lives, romance, fantasy and dreams.

This was a cute anime, it proves if you are a cute girl you can get away with anything. It shows the love/friendship relationship between young girls, and their love for international relationships and foreign cultures. Not bad overall.

The anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1 image and lossy Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo are as good as this set is going to get in this format, though Blu-ray fans should know it is available in that format too. Extras include clean opening and closing animations and trailers.
