2 Broke Girls: The Complete Third Season (2013 - 2014/Warner DVD Set)

Picture: B Sound: B- Extras: C Episodes: B-

Get ready for Season 3 of 2 Broke Girls, with New York's hottest waitresses, Max and Caroline. As they continue to bus tables and get tips, they dream of their dream job of opening their own cupcake shop. But aside from just trying to make enough money for the day, Max enters a culinary school of pastry while Caroline works at the school to help pay her tuition, but things start heating up when they both find boyfriends.

Max and Caroline are two New York roommates living and working together. Max is a well endowed, smart mouthed tomboy who could probably knock out a bear with a single punch. Caroline is a typical blonde, and (former) rich girl who lives with Max after losing all her money because of her father's business. They both now work in a diner own by their Korean boss named Han, which they make fun of all the time for being short, socially awkward and single, along with Oleg the Ukrainian cook who is always trying to get in their pants. They are joined by Sophie, a Polish woman who has no modesty when it comes to men and sex, and finally Earl, an elderly African American who acts sorta like everyone moral conscience since they have none.

This was a comical series and proves that if you are a hot girl you can get away with anything. Most of the jokes were sexual in nature with a lot of double entendres, making fun of celebrities, modern and pop culture, and city life. It sorta reminded me of a mix between TV series Friends and Cheers, but we'll see if it can last as long as either.

The anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1 image looks good throughout, well shot of an HD-produced sitcom, while the lossy Dolby Digital sound complements it well enough. Extras include deleted scenes, gag reel and trailers.
