most entertaining series set against the rough-and-tumble edge of the
Western frontier. Starring James Arness as straight-shooting United
States Marshal Matt Dillon, the residents of Dodge City could rest
easy knowing that law was the order of the day against shady
fugitives, a grudge-carrying cavalry sergeant or the occasional
lovesick lovely. Also starring Amanda Blake as the whip-smart saloon
keeper Miss Kitty, Milburn Stone as reliable medic Doc Adams, Ken
Curtis as lovable deputy Festus Haggen and Burt Reynolds as
half-Comanche blacksmith Quint Asper, the multi-Emmy Award-winning
