Yura
just got into the prestigious women's academy where she looks forward
to starting her debut in hight school life, but the first thing she
does is join the women's air soft team, or better known as C³
(Command, Control and Communications). As Yura gets to know the
trigger happy girls of C³, the girls discover Yura's potential as
gunslinger and together they play various survival games in Stella
Women's Academy, High School Division Class C³ - Complete Collection
(2013).
Yura
is the quiet and shy girl, all her life she has been living in the
shadows of others and never made any friends. So when she started
high school she decided to make over life and become someone, but
first thing that happens to her is she gets roped into a girl's gun
club, there she meets Sonora, Captain of C³, where she admires her
skill as a leader, gunner and her confidence. Soon, Yura discovers
she herself is a natural and then ends up rivaling Sonora, but then
starts believing winning is everything, and she forgets about being
in C³ is also having fun and making friends.
This
was a funny anime, it was a mix of girls, guns, and high school drama
with a dash of comedy. Often, the characters would pretend/imagine
themselves in some real/imaginary battle, anything from a Rambo
parody to being on the shores of Normandy in World War II.
The
anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1 image is soft (though consistent) in
a way one can see why this is not on Blu-ray, while the lossy Dolby
Digital 2.0 Stereo is still not bad with some Pro Logic-like
surrounds. Extras include clean opening and closing animation and
trailers.
