Three
best friends after attending one of their friend's wedding make a vow
to get married within a year ...or they will marry the last man on
Earth they would ever consider. Frustrated, frantic and female, they
begin speed dating, blind dating, and online dating for the chance to
meet Mr. Right. But what they find is how many men isn't 'Mr.
Right', each one pulls out all the tricks of the trade in hopes to
hook the right man and to beat each other to the alter in Nzingha
Stewart's With

Trista
(Regina Hall), Viviane (the great Jill Scott), and Amaya (awesome
music artist Eve) don't want to be the last girl to get married.
Feeling their time is running out the realize they either have to get
married soon or they never will, but each one is hung up on their
past, Trista still has feeling for her ex boyfriend (even thought
he's cheated on her). Viviane is already a single mother but can't
forget the father of her son. And Amaya is a young starlet who is
looking to hook a billionaire superstar husband. The harder they
look for a man, they begin to realize man they are all looking for is
closer to them than they realize and has been there right there all
along beside them.
This
was a comedy about modern woman getting married. Woman who choose to
be single and have a successful career usually look back and when
they realize they ain't getting any younger, begin feeling desperate
when men aren't looking their way anymore. A secret of marriage is
the harder you try the less likely you'll succeed. Not bad for a TV
movie, with supporting performances from Brooklyn Sudano, Deion
Saunders and Gabrielle Union (who co-starred with Hall in The
Honeymooners
feature film) also star.
The
anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1 image looks as good as this is going
to short of Blu-ray, but the lossy Dolby Digital is a bit weak
throughout. There are no extras, not even interviews.
