Gangland Undercover: Season 1 (2015/History Channel/A&E/Lionsgate DVDs)

Picture: B- Sound: B- Extras: D Episodes: B-

Gangland Undercover is an interesting series that explores the lethal nature of Biker Gangs and just what it takes to become one of them. This show's existence is no doubt owed to AMC's Sons of Anarchy, created by Charles Falco who was a former ATF confidential informant (C/S) who infiltrated an outlaw motorcycle gang. The six episode-series is based on Falco's 2013 memoir Vagos, Mongols, and Outlaws: My Infiltration of America's Deadliest Biker Gangs.

The six episodes spanning two discs include Going Under, A Tough Prospect Patched in Dangerous Game, Solitary, and Endgame and all form the arch of the story and his journey through the gang to becoming a trusted member.

The show is pretty interesting and presented in standard definition 1.78 X 1 and a lossy English 2.0 Dolby Digital Stereo audio track that isn't bad in combination throughout. Subtitles are also on the disc in English SDH. No extras.

All in all, Gangland Undercover is a pretty fascinating look at what bike gang life is like. If you are a fan of such things or maybe even read Falco's book then you may want to check this series out.
