The
Vampire Diaries
continues with Season
Six
and further explores the adventures of Elena Gilbert and the
Salvatore Brothers. If you haven't seen the show yet and are a fan
of Twilight
or True
Blood
and other teen thrillers then this is one for you to check out. The
show, much like The
Originals,
bounces back and forth between soap opera and supernatural thriller,
while appealing to a mostly female audience.
After
a sizzling summer with Damon, Elena leaves Mystic Falls and moves
into a dorm with her roommate Caroline, ready for new adventures and
new friends, but dark thoughts gnaw at Elena, and soon familiar faces
are back in the girls' lives. There's Stefan with his shadow self
Silas, plus Katherine, with a diabolical agenda and a jaw-dropping
transformation. As the Doppelgangers test destiny, tearing lovers
apart and pitting the Salvatore brothers against each other, the
student body count rises, evidence of powerful forces on campus.
Anchors, Rippers, Passengers and Travelers struggle to survive
alongside witches and werewolves, teaching our favorite vampires
painful lessons along the way.

surpassing the original broadcast quality is a sharp 1080p high
definition transfer with a widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1 and a
beautifully mastered, lossless DTS-HD MA (Master Audio) audio track
in English 5.1, as well as tracks in French and Spanish 2.0 and
Subtitles in English SDH, French, and Spanish. An Ultraviolet Copy
of the season is also included for those who like to watch their
shows on the go.
