The World Is Still Beautiful: Complete Collection (2014/Sentai Blu-ray)

Picture: B Sound: B+ Extras: C Episodes: B+

Princess Nike travels to the Sun Kingdom as the future bride to the ruler of the world, but then she discovers the Warlord of the Sun Kingdom is a 10-year-old boy spoil brat who is jade by the world and the corrupt court that surrounds him! Despite the age difference, can their marriage really work out for a boy who has a face of an angel but rules like he is the devil himself?

King Livius is the greatest and most ruthless leader to ever rule the Sun Kingdom, but he wasn't born cruel or cold. Forced a young age to ascend the throne, he was forced to become the way he was, kindness was an emotion he couldn't afford. Can Princess Nike soften his iron heart and comfort his lonely soul? Can Princess Nike can summon the rain and water the dry hearts of the people of the Sun?

This was a heartwarming romance story (and for girls who like younger boys) with a bit of fantasy and magic. It is about how a girl can still be her own person while still being a queen and a dutiful wife. It seem to say the nature of a woman is to help soften her husband's burdens and comfort his sadness and sorrows.

The 1080p 1.78 X 1 digital High Definition image across all the episodes are decent and consistent enough throughout if not always state of the art, but more softness is used for style than one might like, but the Japanese DTS-HD MA (Master Audio) 2.0 Stereo lossless tracks are clearer and indicators that the visual style is a choice and not from some lack of quality. Extras include clean opening and closing animation and trailers.
