With
news of the '90s sitcom, Full House, coming to Netflix in a
sister revival series called Fuller House, which reunites most
of the original cast members, we get this terrible Lifetime movie The
Unauthorized Full House Story (2015) that aims to show the drama
behind the seemingly innocent series.
What
fails first and foremost is the cast, with many hardly resembling
their celebrity doppelgangers in the least. On the nose directing
and painful acting makes this a must-only for the most diehard of
fans.
In
this unauthorized take, the cast of Full House deal with the
pressures of starring in a hit sitcom, while trying to balance their
TV personas with their real lives.
The
TV movie stars Garrett Brawith, Justin Mader, Justin Gaston,
Stephanie Bennett, Shelby Armstrong, Brittney Wilson, Dakota Guppy,
Jordyn Olson, Blaise and Kinslea Todd, Calla and Tyla Jones, Kylie
and Jordan Armstrong, Aislyn Watson, and Jaime Schneider.
Presented
in standard definition with an anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of
1.78:1 and a lossy English Dolby Digital 5.1 track, the film looks
fine on DVD but could benefit to a high definition upgrade. An
Ultraviolet Copy is also included.
