When
a group of student perform a charm to remain friends forever, little
did they know it would transfer them to a world of horror, pain,
madness and death. After telling a ghost story about a murder at
their school, they pray to soul of a dead girl to 'protect' their
friendship, but what they didn't know was this 'girl' was horribly
murdered she wants others suffer as she did. Now trapped haunted
school they must somehow break the curse ...or will they become the
next victims?
Trapped in an old haunted school, 9 students
must break the curse to return to the real world in Corpse Party:
Tortured Souls OVA (2014), but in order to break the curse the
must not only discover the truth to the story of the dead, but also
appease the spirits of the dead children and get the murderous spirit
to repent. However, the longer they stay in that world, the more the
madness grips each one of them, and before long they'll have to
survive each other.
This is totally a rated R anime, not for
the faint of heart. Japanese are masters in ghost stories with
gruesome deaths and tragedy. There is nothing more scarier than
demonic children, mixed with anime cuteness and dark plots.
The
1080p 1.78 X 1 digital High Definition image way up there with
Sentai's best releases visually, while the lossless DTS-HD MA (Master
Audio) Japanese 2.0 Stereo sound not as dynamic yet pretty solid with
Pro-Logic-like surrounds if you wish. Extras only include trailers.
