The Man From U.N.C.L.E.: The Complete Season 2 (1965 - 1966/MGM/Warner DVD Set)

Warner Brothers follows up their general release Season One release a few months ago with the superbly crafted television series Man from U.N.C.L.E (starring David McCallum, Robert Vaughn, and Leo G. Carroll with Rip Torn) hot on the home video release of the new film. No doubt inspired from the fame of James Bond in the 1960s (the hero's name was licensed from Ian Fleming), this series features plenty of fun episodes full of innovative gadgets, beautiful women, and exotic locations that will please any fan of the Spy genre. With a staggering running time of over 25 hours, 30 episodes, and ten DVD discs, The Man From U.N.C.L.E.: The Complete Season 2 (1965 - 1966) box set is a great new release that you won't want to miss if you are a fan of the series.

Meet the Men from U.N.C.L.E....

Napoleon Solo - suave, seductive and trained to kill.

Illya Kuryakin - mysterious, calculating and deadly efficient.

Together, they outwit spies and saboteurs, imposters and assassins, insidious machines and power-hungry madmen as agents for the United Network Command for Law and Enforcement - the men from U.N.C.L.E. Here is the classic television series that helped launch the '60s spy mania.

You'll enjoy every challenging mission, the many outlandish gadgets and each narrow escape as you watch Solo (Robert Vaughn) and Kuryakin (David McCallum) take on THRUSH and its axis of evil allies around the globe.

Presented in standard definition with a full frame 1.33:1 aspect ratio and a restored lossy Dolby Digital 2.0 Mono soundtrack, the show looks good on DVD but would look better on Blu-ray, these new transfers have been celebrated since the exclusive Complete Series DVD box set was issued a few years ago. No extras... they are only available if you buy the huge box set, reviewed elsewhere on this site. Since we covered the debut season on its own, the underrated feature film remake finally made it to theaters and on Blu-ray, which we covered here...
