Chain Of Command (2015 aka Echo Effect/Lionsgate Blu-ray)

Picture: A Sound: A Extras: D Film: D

Kevin Carraway's Chain of Command (2015) is an action packed thriller that gives a rather unforgettable story. The plot is an all too familiar one, where the main star of the film, James Webster (Michael Jai White) returns home from duty to witness the murder of his brother. Webster (White) of course, has to seek vengeance and track down the brutal murderer that killed his brother, but he finds himself deeper in a secret world of corruption and murder and at the center of a conspiracy that goes all the way to the U.S. Government.

The acting is not up to par. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, who is supposed to be the most ruthless military assassin, but would be better off in the wrestling ring. It appears that if a film is due to fail because of the story you want to throw a somewhat well known name in the cast to gain some of that fan base and that is what it feels like they did for Chain of Command.

Presented on a high definition 1080p Blu-ray, Chain of Command looks visually appealing and has crisp colors. However, there is not much of a unique style that makes it a great film to watch for its cinematography style.

It is in a widescreen presentation and 1080P high definition and has a lossless 5.1 DTS-HD MA (Master Audio) mix which sounds pretty great during no dialogue and action scenes.

The only bonus features on the disc are a trailer gallery.

Also included with your copy of Chain of Command is a digital version you can watch on the go.
