Leonard
Da Vinci, artist, inventor, genius, patriot and hero, he uses his
ideas, knowledge and inventions to protect/defend the city and people
he loves. He tries to use them to help better mankind, but at each
turn his ideas get either stolen or turned into weapons of mass
destruction. Faced with the guilt that his inventions is now been
used against him, his only hope now is to invent new inventions to
stop his old ones, but how can he fight against invading Turks,
greedy military and ruthless rulers, and the corrupt church, all whom
have already used him to for their own purposes?
In Da
Vinci's Demons: The Complete Third Season (2015), we join the
genius after losing the city of Otranto to Turkish invaders. He is
torn by guilt by the fact it was his inventions that made it possible
for the Turks to succeed. Leonard will have to do the unthinkable,
to unite Italy, but to do that he must ally himself with former
enemies to help fund a new crusade. He is hounded and haunted by
those who would used him to further conquest and destruction. All of
it is controlled by an cult know as the 'Son of Mithras', a secret
society who believes they must destroy the world before it can be
remade and to be filled with the enlightened. His only hope lies in
finding the Book of Four Leaves, a mysterious book that in his hands
can save the world, but in the wrong hands will cause it's
destruction.
This was a fantastical fictional fantasy of
Leonardo Da Vinci, a man centuries ahead of his time. By using
intelligence and 'science' he can cause the key difference to victory
in war or the turning point in history. He is haunted by both inner
and external 'demons', those who would use him and his inventions for
the chaos and greed. It is about man's struggle with his conscience,
if you knew you ideas could change the world ...would you do it at
also the possibility of destroying the world as well?
The
1080p 1.78 X 1 digital High Definition image and lossless Dolby
TrueHD 7.1 mix are top rate, but some (see our reviews of the
previous seasons) may or may not like the visual style of the show.
What no one will like is that there are no extras in this entire
set.
