The
online world of Elder Tales in seems peaceful for now, but it is
hardly safe. After Log Horizon manages to unity the city of
Akihabara, Shiroe sets off on a dangerous mission to explore and
discover the new rules of their world. Meanwhile, a deadly player
killer stalks the streets and alley ways of Akihabara. As the Goblin
armies continue to attack, spies from other countries and cities have
infiltrated Akihabara, testing their strengths and weaknesses. Will
Log Horizon be able to continue it's peaceful existence for much
longer?

Horizon: Season 2, Collection 1
(2013) continues this unique saga we covered in the previous two
halves elsewhere on this site as, after thousands of players get
trapped in a virtual online game world, Shiroe the guild master of
Log Horizon realizes the rules have been changed. He and his
companions have formed the Round Table Alliance to turn their city
Akihabara into a save zone, a place where people can live in peace,
but it seems like things never last, as their world continuing to
evolve the NPC (Non player characters) are becoming more advance and
alive. While the adventurers are immortal, they can hardly be
considered 'gods', they continue to search for a way to log out,
other forces want what they have discovered/created. Including a
different city of adventurers is attacking them too. Shiroe will
have to use all his knowledge and ingenuity to protect the citizens
of Akihabara.
Would it be heaven or hell to find out you are
trapped in your favorite online game and can't log out? Which would
be worst the fact, that you can die or the fact that you CAN'T die?
This is type of a new genre or anime of being stuck in an online
virtual world, if you like series like Sword
Art Online
or .Hack,
you love this series.
The
1080p 1.78 X 1 digital High Definition image across the episodes is
among Sentai's very, very nest playback performers all the way with
plenty of demo moments and great viewing all the way. We get
Japanese and English lossless DTS-HD MA (Master Audio) 2.0 Stereo
mixes that have Pro Logic-like surrounds and sound great for that,
very clear and well-recorded, but the Japanese track is a little
better. Extras include clean opening and closing animations and
trailers.

- Several months have passed, Shiroe realizes their world structure
is continuing to change and they must learn to understand it's rules
if they are to survive.
The
Outlaw and the Mythril Eyes
- Shiroe hires the Silver Sword Guild to explore the game's most
dangerous dungeons to find it's treasures and secrets.

- As Shiroe teams up with his former enemies, they realize if they
are to survive and defeat the dungeon bosses they will all have to
learn to work together.

- It's Christmas in Akihabara and things are getting festive, but a
new dark character has arrived...

As a rogue killer/former Royal Guard stalks the streets of Akihabara,
Akatsuki confronts him and is defeated.
The
Lost Child at Dawn
- Akatsuki and Shiroe meet in the afterlife and they contemplate the
meaning of their 'new' life. Guild Leader Crusty suddenly disappears
from this world.
The
Maidens of Suifuu
- Akatsuki trains herself to catch the killer as the Round Table
Alliance comes up with a plan to stop him.
Akiba
Raid
- Akatsuki and the girls come up with bold new strategy to stop the
invincible serial killer of Akihabara. Akatsuki realizes their
fighting skills/styles can also evolve beyond the original game
limits.
The
Changing Battle Field
- As Shiroe continues the deeper into the dungeons, he dies and he
remembers what was like when he first started playing.
Guild
Master
- After experiencing an entire team wipe, Guild Master William
remembers what does it mean to be a Guild Raid Master, to never give
up and to find a way to defeat the raid bosses.
Retry
- Shiroe comes up with a plan to defeat 3 raid bosses all at
once.
Kunie's
Gold
- Shiroe reaches the heart of the game to where all the gold the
world is being generated and make a new contract with the People of
the Land.

Tender Trap
- It's Valentine's Day and all the girls want to make sweets for the
guys they like. Shiroe faces his biggest challenge ever ...both
Akatsuki and Minori are gunning for him.
