Captain
Raydor (Mary McDonnell) of Major Crimes and her team continue
tirelessly to solve high profile murders of Los Angeles and
Hollywood. Working closely with Mayor, DA, and city palisades, they
patrol and protect the wealthy citizens of LA and Hollywood from the
scum of the night. At the cost of their families, personal lives,
friends and each other the Major Crimes Unit never rest until they
find and catch their suspects in Major
Crimes: The Complete Fourth Season
(2015 - 2016).
As Season
4
continues the larger story arcs, Captain Raydor and her men continue
not only to solve crimes and brings justice, but she also raise her
adopted son Rusty. Rusty continues to solve the mystery of Jane Doe
named 'Alice'. Working closely with the DA and Police Commissioner,
they protect the reputation and honor of the police against crime and
corruption within their own ranks. As they are the 'older' members
of the police force, they teach and remind the rookies (and the
public) what it means to wear the badge, they might be old, a little
slow, have walking problems, but they still have it where it
counts.
The Major
Crimes
TV series has an all star cast and most of the cast has played in
other police/detective dramas series with Mary McDonnell joined by
G.W. Bailey, Tony Denison, Michael Paul Chan, Raymond Cruz, Kearran
Giovanni, Phillip P. Keene, Graham Patrick Martin, Jonathan Del Arco
and Robert Gossett. It felt like this series was created to help
boost Police PR. It follows the current stereotypical cast for
police team drama. A female leader, a couple tech/science guys,
couple of old guys and a grouchy tough guy. The team of 'senior
citizen police' mood is lightened by young adopted boy (who also
happens to be homosexual).
The
anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1 image looks as good as it can in the
format, though the dulled-style might throw some off, while the lossy
Dolby Digital 5.1 sound is a mixed bag that is good in some
scenes, dull and flat in others. Extras include deleted scenes and a
gag reel.
