Die Fighting (2014/MVD Visual Blu-ray)

Picture: B+ Sound: B+ Extras: C Film: C+

Laurent Buson and Fabien Garcia's Die Fighting (2014) is a great new martial arts/action film that has some fantastic cinematography and fight choreography that exceeded my expectations. The highlight of the film is Laurent Buson, a breakout action star who could probably take on Jean Claude Van Damme without getting too sweaty... seriously, this guy definitely needs to be in the next Expendables film! A far warning for cinephiles, this is not Oscar bait by any means but more of a spectacular showcase of fists and fury matched with cool imagery.

Die Fighting co-stars Didier Buson, Jess Allen, Dave Vescio, and former American Gladiator Xin Wuku; the film has gone on to win several awards including being the winner of The Action Elite Awards and several others commending it's action direction and choreography.

A team of awe-inspiring Shaolin-trained kung-fu actors are about to get their break in Hollywood but soon find themselves under the reign of a mysterious and sadistic director who has other plans for them that involves fighting every thug, marital arts expert, and virtual badass in Los Angeles. All the while filming their every move, at what cost will the price of fame cost them?

Presented in 1080p high definition with a 1.85:1 widescreen aspect ratio and a stunning, lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track that makes you feel like you are a part of the action, if you are going got see this film, definitely watch it in this format as opposed to streaming for a maximum experience!

Extras are bit limited but include...

Behind the Scenes

Theme song 'Price of Success'
