The 1952 Fred Zinnemann film The Member Of The Wedding (1952) lands on Blu-ray disc looking and sounding fantastic. Starring Ethel Waters and Julie Harris and produced by Stanley Kramer (Judgment at Nuremberg) and based on the Carson McCullers' Broadway play, the film is a must for fans of theater and looks gorgeous in black and white on Blu-ray disc.

The film stars Julie Harris as a young woman named Frankie who goes through the trails and tribulations of becoming an adult. After running away from home when her brother gets married, she eventually comes across a housekeeper named Berenice Sadie Brown (Blues singing legend Walters) who changes her life in many ways and helps her learn from the death of her cousin.

Presented in black and white high definition with a 1.33:1 full frame aspect ratio and a lossless, English 1.0 DTS-HD MA (Master Audio) Mono track, the film looks and sounds fantastic on Blu-ray disc and will surprise fans by how great it looks for sure.
