Sakura Trick: Complete Collection (2014/Sentai Blu-ray Set)

Picture: B Sound: B+ Extras: C Episodes: B+

Haruka and Yu have been best friends since forever and they want to have a 'special' relationship and they seal their secret with a kiss. As they enjoy their high school days and make new friends, they find chances and opportunities to steal kisses from each other. But how close can they get without their friends finding out? ...And what if they a have the same inclinations?

In Sakura Trick: Complete Collection (2014), Haruka and Yu have always been close to each other, in fact they might be 'soulmates'. Fortunately, their friends either don't mind (what open minded girls) or seem to be in similar types of friendships with 'their' girlfriends. But after sharing their first kisses they awaken to the next level of friendship and want more. Soon, they finding themselves finding secret places to share their kisses. Yu's big sister Mitsuki the School President seems concerned about Yu's relationship to Haruka and closeness to each other, but after meeting Haruka discovers Haruka is also 'her' type girl and becomes Yu's rival for Haruka's affections.

This was yuri anime, where it is about the time in a girl's life when girls are closer to other girls than boys. It is the secret garden for girls where they share their secrets, hopes, desires and dreams with each other (and sweet kisses with each other). But don't worry, the most they do in the series us just kiss each other (sorry boys, no hot girl on girl action scenes for you).

The 1080p 1.78 X 1 digital High Definition image transfer is fine and solid throughout, but the DTS-HD MA (Master Audio) Japanese 2.0 Stereo lossless mix with Pro Logic surrounds is somehow warmer, better and more dynamic on each episode than expected. Extras include clean opening and closing animation and trailers.
