The Wonder Years: Season Six (1992 - 1993/Time Life/StarVista DVD Set)

Picture: B Sound: B Extras: C+ Episodes: C+

The Wonder Years comes to a close with Season Six and follows Kevin (Fred Savage) in his final years of high school where he learns many valuable life lessons and grows more and more from kid to man. As usual, the show has a fantastic classic soundtrack and great production design throughout that contributes to the wholesome value of the show and captures the feel of a time threatened by Vietnam, Nixon's Presidency, and many other important changes in culture. The show also stars Danica McKellar, Dan Lauria, Jason Hervey, Alley Mills, Josh Saviano, Jeremy Davies and Olivia d'Abo to name a few.

22 episodes span four DVDs including Homecoming, Fishing, Scenes From a Wedding, Sex and Economics, Politics as Usual, White Lies, Wayne and Bonnie, Kevin Delivers, The Test, Let Nothing You Dismay, New Years, Alice in Autoland, Ladies and Gentlemen... The Rolling Stones, Unpacking, Hulk Arnold, Nose, Eclipse, Poker, The Little Women, Reunion, Summer, and the two part series finale - Independence Day.

Presented in standard definition with a 1.33:1 full frame aspect ratio and a lossy Dolby Digital Stereo 2.0 track that sounds pretty good for DVD, but as usual would benefit to a high definition upgrade. Collectors will be happy to close out their collection with this final season to add to the set.

Special Features include...

One Hour ABC broadcast of the Season Finale

Featurette: At Last: The Final Episode

Interview with Bob Brush, Executive Producer

From The Vault: Alley Mills and Bob Brush Letters

A classic show that has finally found its way onto disc, The Wonder Years captures the life experiences of a boy named Kevin that will forever captivate its viewers old and young.
