History Channel lovers
will want to pick up this great documentary look at the attack on
Pearl Harbor in this it's 75th Anniversary very directed titled 75th
Anniversary of Pearl Harbor,
with various segments seen on the channel highlighting the historical
event. Created to honor the fallen, unsung heroes, and even
interviews with survivors to help bring the story to life like never
before. Shot over the course of 2001 to 2009 and hosted by Josh
Binswanger and Joan Lunden, this commemorative and noble look will
capture any who are interested in the classic story or are close to
it.
Disc
One highlights Live From Pearl Harbor and Unsung Heroes of
Pearl Harbor. Disc Two highlights Pearl Harbor, Japanese
Sub at Pearl Harbor, and The Other Tragedy at Pearl Harbor.
Presented
in a full screen 1.33:1 aspect ratio, the show looks and sounds as
good as it can for DVD while there is some slight loss in detail for
the most part. Shot before the rise of high definition being the
norm for the 2001 portions, there are some notable titles and video
footage with questionable interlacing. The sound mix is a lossy
English 2.0 Dolby Digital audio track that sounds fine and doesn't
leave too much room for improvement considering the content.
No
additional extras.
