David
(Josh Brenner) was an ordinary blue-collar worker, he went to work
everyday, partied at night, and even had a girlfriend ...that is
until he was fired. So he decides to do the next best thing ...to
become an internet drug dealer. David soon discovers he has the
knack for being a drug dealer, but when push comes to shove at the
threat of losing his friends or being caught, it soon becomes too
late when he realizes he is in over his head in Rory Rooney's Baked
In Brooklyn (2016).
David
is your average American boy, a slightly nerdish boy who dreams of
becoming a white collar worker, but when suddenly he loses his job,
he decides to get rich quick with selling drugs online with same day
bike delivery. He becomes a instant over night success and is soon
filling orders 24-7, but he doesn't realize his business is costing
him his friends (and girl friend) when he starts puts business ahead
over spending time with them. It is only until after his supplier
get caught and arrested (and blames and beats him up) does he realize
he's in over his head and that he has made more than a few wrong life
choices.
If
you like drug and drugs related stories then, this story is for you.
It is the typical story of king pin wannabes, but the characters
realizing trying to quit is like a hitman getting out of the mob.
The whole story felt fairly unrealistic with a boy becoming a drug
bike courier not catching the police's attention and a beautiful (but
eccentric) girl friend character who would be interested in such a
main character.
The
1080p 1.85 X 1 digital High Definition image is a weak HD shoot, as
if comedies (this is not the first time we've seen this) can somehow
get away with sloppy and/or poor imaging, while the DTS-HD MA (Master
Audio) 5.1 lossless sound has location issues, mixing issues and is
not much better. Trailers are the only extras.
