Triage X: Complete Collection (2015/Season One/Sentai Blu-ray Set)

Picture: B Sound: C+ Extras: B Episodes: A-

With society corrupted with greed, drugs and money, the police are powerless to stop crime and criminals, but there are those who would seek and cut out those who are a cancer to society, Black Label. Black Label is secret strike force team formed by doctors, nurses and high school students who moonlight as assassins. To hunt and kill those who think they are beyond the law and when the law has failed in Triage X: Complete Collection (2015).

Arashi along with his voluptuous teammates is Black Label. A group of medically oriented professionals who are tired of those who prey on the weak and off of society. Those of Black Label are gifted with various talents include guns, explosives, swords and mad motorcycle skills. Enhanced by an experimental drug D99 they have superhuman abilities. As they combat crime and corruption they discover another secret society at the heart of evil, Syringe who also have a connection to D99 drug.

From those who brought you "High School of the Dead" comes a new action (and booby) packed series, Triage X. It is not for kids, filled with violence, guns, scantily clad girls and adult situations, but for the anime, I have to say it has be toned back when compared to the manga.

The 1080p 1.78 X 1 image across the episodes are fine and solid, if not spectacular, while the Japanese lossless DTS-HD MA (Master Audio) 2.0 Stereo has no surrounds of any kind and has some off moments, it is fine otherwise. Extras include clean opening and closing animation, interview with the voice actors, Japanese promos and trailers.
