Picture: B+ Sound: B+ Extras: C Episodes: B+

Before he became the infamous Black Jack, he was a promising medical student known as Hazama Kuroo. Even at a young age, Hazama was already a genius and far ahead of the doctors who taught him. As new medical technology advances, Hazama soon find his calling ...a chance to save lives, even if he is not a doctor ...licensed or not, in Young Black Jack: Complete Collection (2015).

Scorned by his peers, envied by his rivals, Hazama is a young medical student learning about new medical technologies and procedures who soon learns the power to saving a life is closely tied in with money, politics, greed and corruption. But as a doctor knows no race, no politics, there is no value or higher calling than to save lives. Hazama saves lives, he learns how ugly, cruel the world and reality is, but he continues to use his scalpel not only to save lives, but to also cut out the darkness within human hearts.

Based on the story of Black Jack, the unlicensed doctor who performers miracle surgeries for huge sums of money, Young Black Jack is the origin story of while he was just a medical student. Through the times, wars, revolutions and experiences has shaped why he became an unlicensed doctor.

The 1080p 1.78 X 1 digital High Definition image and DTS-HD MA (Master Audio) lossless Japanese 2.0 Stereo (with some Pro Logic-like surrounds) play terrifically well throughout, near Sentais best of not at the very top of their demo performance releases.
