Shaun The Sheep: Season 3 & 4 (2012 - 2014/Lionsgate DVD Set)

Picture: B Sound: C Extras: D Episodes: C+

Shawn the Sheep and Bitzer the Sheepdog are NOT your average sheep and dog. Together, they help improve the life styles on the farm for the animals, all the meanwhile behind the Farmer's back. They are all back for the Third and Fourth Seasons of Shaun The Sheep.

To the Farmer, Bitzer the Sheepdog, Shawn the Sheep and his flock are just a normal dog and a docile flock, but whenever the farmer's away or just not looking, the sheep and dog will play. Secretly, Shawn and Bitzer are the ones who run the farm and flock, kicking back in chairs, partying, playing pranks or dealing with bully pigs.

Shawn the Sheep the series/franchise is like a cross between Gumby, Tom & Jerry and Garfield. It is clay animation aka Claymation with dynamic duo between a sheep and dog, mixed with a Garfield and Odie like relationship. There was no talking between character, but only an occasional grunt or laugh or cry. Each episode is a about 15 minutes and is short and silly. This series seems to aimed at young children in which anyone can understand without language.

Picture & sound are the same as the Season 2 set we reviewed at this link...

Why the sound is still on the weak side is odd, but be careful of volume switching. Also, no extras.
