A
sequel to Severin's Kung Fu Trailers of Fury disc (reviewed
elsewhere on this site among other such compilations), comes the
action packed sequel - Return to Kung Fu Trailers of Fury!
Featuring thirty five trailers of known and unknown martial arts
classics, this is a treat for fans and a great history lesson of
films you may not know about. All of them have been restored to high
definition as much as possible, looking and sounding great in this
release. These films all look pretty fun and we can only hope to see
some of them on Blu-ray disc in the near future.

Presented
in 1080p high definition with a 1.78:1 widescreen aspect ratio
(featuring various aspect ratios as expected) and a lossy Dolby
Digital 2.0 track, Severin preserves these fun trailers to the best
they can look on disc. While the mix isn't in 5.1, it doesn't
necessarily need to be as many of these films have been restored from
their original mono tracks and upgraded to stereo. The video
presentation isn't half bad either, with great detail on characters
and some film artifacts (scratches, emulsions, etc.) that add to the
experience rather than detract. English subs are also on the disc.

If
you like Kung Fu films, then this disc is a must have as it will give
you hours of entertainment. A disc like this is perfect for a party
situation or if you're having a bunch of friends over, much like
Severin's previous releases such as The Trail of Dracula and
Video Nasties (both of which feature lots of great trailers
and are also reviewed elsewhere on this site.)
