Long
ago, the Gods came down from heavens to live among man. Together,
the Gods found followers and adventurers and formed 'familias' to
enter the endless labyrinths beneath the great city of Orario. The
Gods give their blessings to the adventurers to fight monsters and
claim treasures and Gods own fame and glory grows. But Bell Cranel
follows his late grandfather's last words to become an adventurer for
another reason ...that being an adventurer is a great way to meet
girls in Is It
Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon?
(2015).
Bell
Cranel is a novice adventurer, but he finds himself as the only
follower (at first) of the Goddess Hestia (a.k.a. the loli big
breasted goddess) who also happens to have a major crush on him.
Bell wants to become stronger to impress the girls, but on his very
first adventure he finds himself being rescued by the girl he has a
crush on instead. As his skill as an adventurer grows, unknown to
him Bell begins to have several girls who are interested in him
...but Hestia will be damned (and so will Bell) if she lets any other
girls win Bell's heart first before she does.
This
was a fun anime that makes fun of role playing and players of
Dungeons and
Dragons. It
takes all the typical game playing of rpg games. And like the
typical anime it has lots of girls, adventure, comedy and romance.
The
1080p 1.78 X 1 digital High Definition image is another winner among
the very best Sentai has ever issued on Blu-ray, state-of-the-art and
amazing, while the lossless DTS-HD MA (Master Audio) 2.0 Stereo is
presented in a passable English dub and a better Japanese version
that is really good, including having Pro-Logic like surrounds. Only
if it were 5.1, 7.1 or 11.1 could it be better. Extras include clean
opening and closing animations and trailers.
