Diabolik Lovers II: More Blood (2015/Season Two/Sentai Blu-ray)

Picture: B Sound: C+ Extras: C Episodes: C+

Can a girl ask for anything more when she is living with 6 pretty boys vampires who all want her blood? More vampire boys. Yui finds herself suddenly kidnapped and living with another group of vampires boys, who are they and why do they keep calling her 'Eve'? What is their mysterious plan and will there be war between the Sakamaki and Mukami clans over who possess Yui? Find out in Diabolik Lovers II: More Blood (2015).

What is a young girl to do when 10 bishonen vampires boy who all want her? While they all treat her like their pet, Yui is so kind, gentle, sweet and forgiving, once a vampire has her blood they become addicted to her blood and don't want anyone else's blood. And while their attitudes are cold (almost abusive) to her, to the outside world she seem like a princess surround by her suitors and her consorts. Yui seems to be at the center of some mysterious vampire games where she is 'Eve' and the vampires are searching on who can become her 'Adam'. And no matter how many boys, how many times she is bitten, her skin is always flawless and she holds no grudge from any of her captors, even when they force themselves on her.

This is a vampire harem for girls, where there is no end to the pretty boy vampires with tragic pasts and a bunch of emo problems. Be warned however, each episode however is about only 10 minute long. The plot and story seems to be how the vampires retain their humanity through the main character Yui, the object of their desire and lust as if she is the last girl on Earth.

The 1080p 1.78 X 1 digital High Definition image on all 12 episodes look really good throughout, color and detail included. Both the Japanese & English lossless DTS-HD MA (Master Audio) 2.0 Stereo presentations have Pro Logic-like surrounds, but the English disappoints a bit in comparison and the better Japanese presentation (more detailed and accurate) still tends to miss the mark despite being the better choice. Extras include clean opening and closing animation and trailers.
