Duck Dynasty: The Final Season

Duck Dynasty comes to an end in this Final Season that's a fitting end to our heroes. These rednecks turned millionaires continue to grow as a family as Lil' Will gets a car, Reed gets married, Baby Gus turns a year old, and Rowdy's adoption goes through - all of which are good bookends for the family members themselves. Usually broadcast on A&E, the series lands on DVD for fans to go (duck) hunting for.

15 Episodes span two discs and include The West Monroe Wing, Automation Frustration, Razing the Snakes, Uneasy Rider, Good Willie Hunting, Sleep Cover, Drive-in Revivin', Fishful Thinking, When Doves Fry, Carpnado, The Campfire Diaries, Rowdy's Big Day, Disappearing Acts, Dance Dads, and End of an Era.

Presented on DVD in standard definition and a widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1, the show looks and sounds comparable to digital broadcasts on television. The sound mix is a simple, lossy English 2.0 Dolby Digital Stereo audio track that is pretty standard and nothing impressive or terrible. Colors and details could be enhanced on a Blu-ray edition but for what this is, this is fine.

No Extras.

Fans should feel fulfilled with this final and bittersweet season of the hit show.

Shark Week: Shark and Awe! Collection

Shark enthusiasts the world over will adore this amazing six disc DVD collection of some highlights from 2015 and 2016's seasons of Discovery's Shark Week in this newly released ''jawsome'' collection. Infamous as a villain of nature, throughout the course of this documentary series you are destined to get a whole new understanding of sharks, and maybe even start to feel for them a bit too.

32 episodes are in this set, which include Shark Trek, Island of the Mega Shark, Monster Mako, Return of the Great White Serial Killer, Alien Sharks: Close Encounter, Bridge of Jaws, Tiburones: Sharks of Cuba, Super Predator, Ninja Sharks, Sharks of the Shadowland, Sharksanity: The Return, Shark Island, Shark Alley: Legend of Dynamite, Air Jaws: Walking With Great Whites, Mythbusters vs Jaws, Sharktacular 2016, Tiger Beach, Return of the Monster Mako, Isle of Jaws, Shallow Water Invasion, Jaws of the Deep, Sharks Among Us, Wrath of a Great White Serial Killer, Deadliest Sharks, Sharks vs. Dolphins: Face Off, Nuclear Sharks, Jungle Shark, Blue Serengeti, Sharksanity 3, and The Killing Games.

While this set would have been even more fantastic in HD, we get this collection in standard definition with a 1.78:1 widescreen presentation and standard-sounding English lossy 2.0 Dolby Digital Stereo audio track. Comparable to the other television broadcasts, the series looks up to par with the DVD format. No digital copies.

No extras.

Spanning twenty two hours and thirty five minutes in length, the Shark Week: Shark and Awe! Collection will melt your brain with shark footage and shark facts. Hopefully, a 4K version of this collection will be available in the future.
