Spend The Holidays With Liberace

Passport Video, who has already issued material from Liberace’s TV series (reviewed elsewhere on this site) has paired two holiday shows from that series and dubbed it Spend The Holidays With Liberace.  The two shows are the Thanksgiving and Christmas, each under a half-hour to fit their commercial TV slots.  The songs are as follows:

 

Thanksgiving Show:

 

1)     Turkey In The Show

2)     Shine On Harvest Moon

3)     Bless This House

4)     The Maiden’s Wish

5)     The Ritual Fire Dance

6)     Come On-A My House

 

Christmas Show:

 

7)     Santa Claus Is Coming To Town

8)     Jingle Bells

9)     White Christmas

10)  Silent Night

11)  Sleigh Ride

12)  God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen

13)  O Holy Night

 

 

The show was form the 1954 TV season and is convenient for those who might want this kind of programming for the holidays.  The 1.33 X 1 full screen image is again soft and dated, down a few generations from the original masters.  The same applies to the monophonic audio, again here in Dolby Digital 2.0 Mono and there are no extras.  At least it is passable and not very expensive.
