Yuri Shibuya is back and he is more tired than before in Kyo
Kara Maoh! – God (?) Save Our King: Volume Two is even more problematic than
it began, as the now empowered teen becomes more involved in action while still
stuck in a deconstructionist, formula show.
I had very slim hopes this would change, but that was useless. Having read the titles of the previous set
and seeing those shows, I should have known better. The episode titles here are:

8) Moonlit Plot

10) The Hand Of Evil Looms

The anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1/16 X 9 image is
stylized with the usual white hazing, another cliché. However, it is clean and clear otherwise, looking really good
otherwise. The Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo
in either Japanese or English both have Pro Logic surrounds. Extras include three previews for other
Geneon titles and conceptual art, which is less than the last disc, proving the
end of the rope is close at hand.
