Bottle Fairy Volume One – Spring & Summer (Animé TV)

Picture: C+     Sound: B-     Extras: C     Episodes: C+

In one of the safer age 7 series of its kind, Bottle Fairy Volume One – Spring & Summer where four miniature fairies enter the life of a young girl to change it and make it better.  Along with other such humor, this is the most action we’ve seen thanks to such small females since those two chicks that got together to summons Mothra.

Instead of giant Toho monsters, these four gals only want to make dreams come true and the first six episodes here are titled from the month of April through to September.  Though not any kind of brilliant masterwork, it is charming enough, though boring for older persons.  Young ladies may find this entertaining and it is child-friendly enough, so try this one out for something different for their age group.

The 1.33 X 1 full frame image is colorful, lacks the fake white look of too many of these shows and is clean in general.  The Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo mixes actually have just enough Pro Logic surrounds to enjoy.  The few extras include Geneon previews and the opening & closing credits without text.
