Jay Soto is yet another artist in the Latin Jazz Pop field
going solo after establishing himself otherwise. Besides drum programming, he performs al the guitars and
keyboards for Long Time Coming, his new CD. Except for the final track, all the songs are all-new to this
set. Though done sincerely and
professionally with some obvious skill, the result is a surprisingly homogenized
work that has limited distinction and does not stay with you.
The PCM 2.0 16Bit/44.1kHz Stereo is nicely recorded though

Jazz unless it has some real edge. At
least it is sonically competent.
