The Elaine Petrone Method (Exercise Set)

Picture: C+     Sound: C+     Extras: B     Main Program: B-

Elaine Petrone had some problems she could not get resolved with pain in her body.  After much searching, she found little known treatments she was looking for and decided to parlay it into a new kind of exercise/health program to help people who may not be finding results from far more expensive, unnecessary and ineffective applications to get rid of pain.  Acorn Media has issued a new Elaine Petrone Method box that includes a DVD and two of the soft rubber balls to do the various exercises and procedures that she has found to be such a huge success.

Running under an hour, you can “unwork” and undo the knotting and other problems she encountered after an accident injury.  Because of her experiences, she has gone out of her way to cover the gamut of possibilities and the results are an interesting alternative to problems that can seriously affect a person’s life in the negative.  Since we are reviewing the disc and not the exercise, even if this critic was a health expert, none of us here can testify to its total effectiveness, but it seems like one of the safer, healthier alternatives that has a great chance of working and all should be commended for making it available to those who mighty find it life changing for the better.  We definitely recommend those who are interested should look into it ASAP.

The 1.33 X 1 image was shot on professional analog NTSC videotape and is just fine for an instructional exercise program such as this, something that also applies to the Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo, which is simple and has no surround information.  Extras include a program about Miss Petrone and the two big rubber balls you can use (with doctor’s consent) to put under your back and at other key places on your body as you work pains, tensions and other problems out.  The use of this “Miracle Ball Method” is interesting and just might be the thing you are looking for.
