Bottle Fairy Volume Two – Autumn & Winter (Animé TV)

Picture: C+     Sound: B-     Extras: C     Episodes: C+

Continuing one of the safer age 7 series of its kind, Bottle Fairy Volume Two – Autumn & Winter concludes the basic set up of this show where four miniature fairies enter the life of a young girl to change it and make it better.  Along with other such humor, the action continues and it is no better or worse than the last volume, reviewed elsewhere on this site.

To recap, instead of giant Toho monsters, these four gals only want to make dreams come true and the first six episodes here are titled from the month of April through to September.  Though not any kind of brilliant masterwork, it is charming enough, though boring for older persons.  Young ladies may find this entertaining and it is child-friendly enough, so try this one out for something different for their age group.  Episodes 7 – 13 are featured.

The 1.33 X 1 full frame image remains colorful, lacks the fake white look of too many of these shows and is clean in general.  The Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo mixes again actually have just enough Pro Logic surrounds to enjoy.  The few extras include Geneon previews and a repeat of closing credits only without text.  The last volume did the same for the opening credits.
